- This MY DOG Magazine Subscription Offer “(Offer”) is made by Mars Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 48 008 454 313, trading as Mars Petcare Australia, of Petcare Place, Wodonga VIC 3690 (“Promoter”).
- The Offer is available only to Eligible Claimants. An Eligible Claimant is an individual who lives in Australia.
- Subject to these conditions, an Eligible Claimant is entitled to submit a claim for one Magazine Subscription (a “Claim”) if they make a “Qualifying Purchase” of MY DOG products during the period from 20 April 2009 to 13 July 2009, inclusive (the “Purchase Period”). The Purchase Period is expressed in terms of local time at the place of purchase.
- Subject to the other provisions of this condition, a "Qualifying Purchase"
for a normal Claim is the purchase from any retail outlet(s) in Australia of 25
MY DOG products (all the same MY DOG products or any combination). If an
Eligible Entrant receives an email from the Promoter that (i) refers to this
Offer, (ii) contains a "VIP Promotional Code", and (iii) invites the Eligible
Claimant to submit a Claim ("VIP Email Invitation"), that Eligible Entrant may
submit a "VIP Claim". A Qualifying Purchase for a VIP Claim is the purchase from
any retail outlet(s) in Australia of only 20 MY DOG products (all the same MY
DOG products or any combination)
- There is a limit of 2 Claims per household and a limit of one VIP Claim per Eligible Claimant. Each Claim requires the purchase of separate MY DOG products. Subject to this condition, an Eligible Claimant may submit more than one Claim in the same envelope.
- For the purposes of these conditions, multiple MY DOG products that are packed together in one outer pack for retail sale (a “Multipack”) will be treated as separate MY DOG products. For example, a Multipack containing six 100g MY DOG Gourmet Beef packs will be treated as six MY DOG products.
- For the purposes of these conditions, a Magazine Subscription is a three month subscription to the Australian edition of one of the following magazines:
(i) Who
(ii) InStyle, or
(iii) Better Homes & Gardens
The value of each three month Magazine Subscription is as follows: Who $56.40;
InStyle $23.85; Better Homes & Gardens $17.85.
- To submit a Claim, an Eligible Claimant must:
(i) as directed, legibly complete an Offer Claim Form (including indicating which Magazine Subscription they wish to receive). If the Claim is a
VIP Claim, the Claim must be submitted on a Claim Form that has been accessed by following the
VIP link in the Email Invitation, and the Claim must include the Promotional Code provided in the
VIP Email Invitation;
(ii) enclose in an envelope:
(a) the completed Offer Claim Form; and
(b) the original receipts (or legible photocopy receipts) evidencing the retail purchase in Australia of the relevant Qualifying Purchase (see condition 4); and
(iii) post the envelope to “MY DOG FREE Magazine Subscription”, PO Box 365, Port Melbourne, VIC 3207.
- All claimants must ensure that their Claims are received by the Promoter by 5pm (Melbourne time) on 20/7/09 (the “Claims Deadline”). The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or misdirected Claims, or for any delays or failures in the postal service. Claims that are received after the Claims Deadline will not be processed.
- All received Claims become the property of the Promoter. By submitting a Claim the claimant is deemed to have accepted these conditions.
- Claims will be processed in the order of receipt. Allow 28 days for the processing of a Claim from the date of its receipt.
- The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to verify the validity of all Claims (including the right to confirm and verify the identity of a claimant, by requesting proof of identity and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable is at the Promoter's absolute discretion) and to not accept any, or all, Claims from a claimant who, in the Promoter’s opinion, has tampered with the Claim process or submitted a Claim that is not in accordance with these conditions.
- A maximum of 5,000 Claims will be accepted. When a Claim is accepted, the Promoter will arrange with the publisher of the Magazine nominated by the Claimant in their Claim, for a 3 month Magazine Subscription to that magazine to be taken out in the Claimant’s name. The address to be used for the delivery of the Magazine will be the address nominated by the Claimant in their Claim Form. Where two Claims are accepted from the same household, and the same Magazine Subscription is nominated in both Claims, the Magazine Subscriptions will NOT be consecutive ie., two copies of the same issues of the nominated Magazine will be sent.
- If 5,000 Claims are received and accepted, the maximum total value of all Subscriptions that will be provided, is $282,000.
- The Promoter's decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) whatsoever which is suffered or incurred by any claimant connected with this offer, including: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; and (ii) any loss arising from or contributed to by negligence of a Relevant Party.
- Claimant details are collected only to enable offer administration. If a claimant fails to correctly provide those details, their Claim may not be processed and they may not receive their Subscription. A claimant may contact the Promoter at the address below to request access to their details that are still held.
